Medication issues?

Zach has been taking a low dose antibiotic for the past 10 days to fight his recurring ear infections, and tonite, we discovered a rash on his belly that looked quite similar to the one he got when he had the reaction to the amoxicillin. So we called the hospital help line and were told that he probably needed to be seen tonite...read: emergency room. Chris called Dr. T's office to see if he could get some word from Dr. T as to whether we should take him in, and tho he didn't speak to Dr. T, got word from one of the other docs that unless Zach has respiratory distress, the rash can wait till morning.

So, we have another appointment for Zach to see if he's having a reaction to this antibiotic...

I think this child has been to the doctor more in his first 9 months of life than I have been in the last 10 years! We'll keep you posted on what we find out.
